On the Categories page, you can add new categories or modify the metadata of existing ones (such as the category name, description, and slug).
TimyNote Pro does not support nested categories. Based on our ten years of note-taking experience, overly detailed multi-level category hierarchies become less meaningful as the number of notes grows. When you have hundreds or even thousands of notes, efficient search becomes far more important than complex hierarchical classification.
We have also added an input field below the category list in the editor menu, allowing you to create a new category at any time. When you delete a category, all posts associated with that category will be automatically moved to the Default category.
